I recommend the below arrangement to make the components of our satellite switch on and off. The motor in the circuit can be used to open a hatch for our parachute of our landing gear. We can use multiple amounts of this type of circuit off the same 3V supply (Circuit 1). We can program the component to turn off or on when we want by replacing the yellow part of the circuit with a current from a processing device (Arduino, raspberry pi,…etc) (Circuit 2), we would need to program that particular terminal. The below picture shows the arrangement being tested.
